Welcome to Step Brothers, an open men's Alcoholics Anonymous group based in the East Bay, California, centered on recovery, connection, and community. We start each gathering by sharing food and fellowship, creating a relaxed space to connect and support one another before the meeting begins. Afterward, we move into our step study, where a guest speaker leads reflection on the principles of the Twelve Steps and how they apply to everyday life. Whether you’re new to Alcoholics Anonymous or have been part of the program for years, come share a meal, find camaraderie, and grow together in recovery.
Every Wednesday:
5 - 6:30pm - Food and Fellowship
6:30 - 8pm - Book/Step study Speaker meeting
Calvary Lutheran Church
17200 Via Magdalena, San Lorenzo, CA 94580
Each week at Step Brothers, we gather first for food and fellowship — a relaxed time to connect and welcome newcomers before the formal meeting begins. Our 90‑minute meeting starts with readings from approved Alcoholics Anonymous literature on the step of the week, followed by an invited speaker and open sharing from the group. This format encourages connection, reflection, and honest conversation about how the Twelve Steps shape daily life.
